TITLE

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, amending and restating prior Resolution No. 15-20 recorded in the official records of the Pinal County at Document No. 2015-029578, and Resolution No. 15-21 recorded in the official records of Pinal County at Document No. 2015-029579 concerning certain real property located within the City of Maricopa in a portion of the southeast quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 3 East of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Discussion and Action. 

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

Subdivision (SUB) 14-04: EEC, Inc., representing Great Western Bank, is requesting the abandonment of the common lot lines of lot numbers 41, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, and 73, and creating new lot number 68A within the amended Maricopa Manor plat subdivision as allowed per Sec. 14-4-9 of the City’s Subdivision Ordinance, recorded in book 8, page 27, records for Pinal County. It is located in a portion of the southeast quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 3 East, of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pinal County, City of Maricopa, Arizona.

 

This item was previously approved in 2015 under Resolution 15-20. However, it was brought to the attention of staff that the property owner's title company has concerns with the prior resolutions. This new resolution has been vetted by staff, the property owner representative, and city legal staff.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends approval of the Resolution to abandon a portion of the existing Maricopa Manor subdivision, common lot lines of lot numbers 41, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 and 73, and create new lot number 68A.
