TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting Wireless Communication Facilities Design Standards.  Discussion and Action.

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Zoning Code Rewrite Task Force and Planning and Zoning Commission recommend that the Mayor and City Council adopt the attached Resolution 14-46 for Wireless Communication Facilities Design Standards.  These standards were originally adopted by the City Council on October 30, 2012 by Council adoption of Ordinance 12-11 in conjunction with the adoption of Article 36 "Wireless Communication Facilities Ordinance."  Should the City Council adopt the new Zoning Code (Ordinance 14-12) on this agenda, the prior adopted Wireless Facility ordinance will be repealed and replaced with the related instruments included on this agenda.  No changes are proposed to the Design Standards for Wireless Communication Facilities, as originally adopted. The proposed Zoning Code references the Design Standards for Wireless Communication Facilities by name and staff recommends these guidelines be formally adopted by this resolution.
