Call to the Public  
The procedures to follow if you address the Board are: The Board requests that you  
express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or  
derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether  
in the audience or not. The Board Chair will limit discussion whenever they deem such  
an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting. At the conclusion of an open  
call to the public, individual members of the Committee may respond to criticism made  
by those who have addressed the Board may ask Staff to review a matter, or may ask  
that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, members of the Board shall not  
discuss or take legal action on any matters during an open call to the public unless the  
matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action.

City of Maricopa having two Human Resources Business Partners assigned to Public

The Board will acknowledge, and take action on the hiring and receipt of physical  
examination, for the following new Police Officer-Recruit(s) and Police Officer-Laterals,  
with NO pre-existing condition(s) into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System.

The Board will acknowledge the separation of employment and take action to terminate  
membership of the following Member(s), from the Public Safety Personnel Retirement  
System as to their employment with the City of Maricopa. Discussion and Action.  
1. Matthew Rexinger - Exiting drop into standard retirement 04/03/2026.  
The Board will acknowledge current employee, Alfonso Galindo, for employer request for  
subsidy and return to work retiree. Retirement from Arizona Department of Public Safety  
as a State Trooper and separation from PSPRS on July 30, 2021. Returned to work for  
the City of Maricopa as Risk and Safety Manager effective December 3, 2024 and put  
into ASRS. Discussion and Action.

The Board will acknowledge in reference to PSPRS 25-13 from December 2, 2025 the  
following clarification of PSPRS hire date:  
1. Dustin Denning, Police Officer, PSPRS hire date 02/12/2026.  
2. Eric Goodman, Police Officer, PSPRS hire date 02/12/2026.

Executive Session  
The Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board may go into executive session  
for purpose of obtaining legal advice from the City’s Attorney on any of the above agenda  
items pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3).

attend. Notice is hereby given of the possibility of a quorum of the Maricopa City Council  
members at this meeting.
