Call to the Public  
The procedures to follow if you address the Board are: The Board requests that you  
express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or  
derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether  
in the audience or not. The Board Chair will limit discussion whenever they deem such  
an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting. At the conclusion of an open  
call to the public, individual members of the Committee may respond to criticism made  
by those who have addressed the Board may ask Staff to review a matter, or may ask  
that a matter be put on a future agenda. However, members of the Board shall not  
discuss or take legal action on any matters during an open call to the public unless the  
matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action.

The Board will vote to appoint a new local board Secretary, or alternate considering the  
City of Maricopa having two Human Resources Business Partners assigned to Public  
Safety. Discussion and Action.  
The Board will acknowledge the separation of employment, and take action to terminate  
membership of the following Member(s) from the PSPRS, as to their employment with  
the City of Maricopa. Discussion and Action.

The Board will acknowledge, in reference to meeting from December 2, 2025 PSPRS  
25-17 and 25-18, the following clarification of PSPRS hire dates.  
1. Jameson Gallup, Firefighter, PSPRS hire date 12/04/2025.  
2. Richard Hobson, Firefighter, PSPRS hire date 12/04/2025.  
3. Kai Benjamin, Firefighter, PSPRS hire date 12/04/2025.

Executive Session  
The Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board may go into executive session  
for purpose of obtaining legal advice from the City’s Attorney on any of the above agenda  
items pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3).

attend. Notice is hereby given of the possibility of a quorum of the Maricopa City Council  
members at this meeting.
