GRA 18-05 19.162018 COPS SVVP Grant Consent to ApplyConsent to Apply for GrantThe Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to provide consent to submit a grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Service School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for the acquisition and installation of video technology in five (5) City of Maricopa schools. The video technology will give expedited notification to Maricopa Police Department during an emergency. There is a 25% matching requirement for the grant.
