The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for an Application for a Special Event Liquor License submitted by Brenda Campbell to allow The Roost Sports Bar & Cafe to serve alcohol during a special event known as the Great American 4th Fireworks Show on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Copper Sky Regional Park 44345 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Discussion and Action.

The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for the Great American 4th Fireworks Show that is planned for July 4, 2023 at Copper Sky, Ralph has applied for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This annual event has been a crowd favorite for many years. A celebration of our country's independence and patriotism and a time for our community to gather for fun, festivities and fireworks! Pool party, entertainment, water slides, vendors, food trucks and the beer garden all add to the event. We will be charging for parking and strongly encouraging pre-sale parking and complimentary shuttle service.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the Great American 4th Fireworks Show in July 4, 2023.
