TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, appointing the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve as the members of the Transit Advisory Committee. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
As part of the federal funding of the City’s transit system, the Transit Advisory Committee is required to meet quarterly provide guidance, recommend policies, and receive and discuss public input regarding the City’s transit services. Because of the limited purpose and the infrequency of the meetings, City staff is recommending that the members of council appoint their nominations to the Planning and Zoning Commission to also serve on the Transit Advisory Committee.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of this Resolution appointing the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve as the members of the Transit Advisory Committee.
