TITLE

An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, amending Sections 12.10.010(A) and 12.40.030(14) of the Maricopa City Code regarding hours of operation for City parks and providing for severability and the effective date thereof.  Discussion and Action. 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

ORD 23-09 shall be discussed as an amendment to the current City park hours ordinance from 'sunrise to 11pm' to '5am-11pm'. 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the amendment of the City park hours.  This is a way to expand the hours, allow more public usage, and to remove ambiguity from our policy and code.
