A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, modifying fees and charges for public records for the City Clerk Department and providing for the repeal of conflicting resolutions. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This request is to repeal the existing fee schedule, as the new fee schedule for the City Clerk Department. The purpose of this fee schedule update is to include a fee schedule for public record requests that will be used for a commercial purpose. This is a fee that we have never charged before. In accordance with A.R.S. §9-499.15, public notice of the proposed fee increase was given for 60 days on the city's website. Revised fees are to be considered as an action item by the City Council. If the City Council approves the modified and proposed fees, they will become effective on May 19, 2022. Below is general breakdown of the proposed fees:
