TITLE

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting Multi-Family Residential Design Guidelines for the City of Maricopa. Discussion and Action.

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve Resolution 22-22, case # TXT21-03, a request by the City of Maricopa to create the City of Maricopa Multi-Family Residential Design Guidelines. This 1st Edition of the Multi-Family Residential Design Guidelines is needed to keep up with ever changing development practices and to ensure the guidelines represent the goals and vision of the City and its residents. If approved, the Guidelines will expedite the development process and help guide developers and builders by providing a framework so that our residential communities offer a variety of diverse and attractive housing products, floor plans and architectural styles.

On March 28, 2022, the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval and adoption Resolution 22-22 for the Multi-Family Residential Design Guidelines.
