TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on a request to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Pinal County by and through Pinal County Sheriff's Office for the purpose of selling a 2005 ALF Rescue Master Mobile Command Vehicle to the County.  Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this Agreement is to transfer ownership of the Vehicle described from the City to County on behalf of PCSO's tactical team (SWAT) to utilize during high-risk incidents. The County acknowledges and agrees that it takes the Vehicle, and any accessory, part, and addition therein and thereon and modification thereto, in as is condition. The total purchase price of $60,000.00 is to be paid by the County to the City by cashier's check, money order o other instrument acceptable to the City at the time of delivery of the Vehicle.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends Mayor and City Council approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Pinal County  for the purpose to transfer ownership of the 2005 ALF Rescue Master Mobile Command Vehicle to the County.
