TITLE

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, amending the Street Naming and Addressing Procedures. Discussion and Action.

 

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The City has prepared an update to the Street Naming and Addressing Procedures (SNAP) to reflect current standards, systems, and work flows. The SNAP is attached as an exhibit to this Resolution. Notable changes include: the authority for administrative updates, except for Section 10, and slight deregulation of Street Name Changes. Staff worked closely with Fire, Police, and Building Safety. The document was distributed to all departments for review.

 

 

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends approval of the Resolution to amend the Street Naming and Addressing Procedures.
