TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting a minor General Plan Land Use Amendment to change the land use from Public/Institutional (P) to Mixed Use (MU) for approximately 27.09 acres of land generally located at the southeast corner of N. Porter Road and W. Applegate Road, just north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits, as described in case # GPA 21-05. The land is situated in a portion of Section 36, Township 4 South, Range 3 East, Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve Resolution 21-46, a request by Eric Omdahl of Maricopa AH I, LLLP to amend the General Plan Future Land Use Map of approximately 27.09 acres, from existing Public/Institutional (P) to Mixed Use (MU) generally located at the southeast corner of N. Porter Road and W. Applegate Road, just north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy, on a portion of Pinal County assessor number 510-300-02C.
On October 11, 2021 the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that the City Council approve Case # GPA21-05, and adopt Resolution 21-46.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Case # GPA21-05 subject to the conditions stated in the staff analysis exhibit.
