TITLE
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, deleting section 2.20.040 of the Maricopa City Code to eliminate the requirement that Ordinances are read before being introduced or passed. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This ordinance will eliminate the requirement that all ordinances be read before adoption thus allowing us to put them on the consent agenda. Any consent agenda may be pulled at the request of any member of the City Council or as granted by the Mayor upon a request from a member of the public.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance.
