TITLE
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting an amendment to the City's Zoning Map to rezone approximately 18.82 acres of land generally located on the Southeast corner of Honeycutt Road and Hartman Road, within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits, from Local Business (CB-1) to Multiple Unit Residential (RM) as described in case #ZON 21-01. The parcel of land is located in a portion of Section 28 of Township 4 South, Range 4 East of the Gila and Salt River base and meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve Ordinance 21-06, a request by Sandbox Development Consultants, to amend the designated land use for approximately 18.82 acres of land from Local Business Zone (CB-1) to Multiple Unit Residential Zone (RM) as identified in the City’s Zoning Map. Generally located near the southeast corner of Honeycutt Road and Hartman Road, within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits. The land is located in a portion of Section 28 of Township 4 South, Range 4 East of the Gila and Salt River base and meridian, Pinal County, Arizona.
On April 12, 2021 the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that the City Council approve case # ZON21-01, and adopt Ordinance 21-06.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommends approval of Case # ZON21-01 subject to the conditions stated in the staff analysis exhibit.
