TITLE

An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting an amendment to the City's Zoning Map to include a Maricopa Station Overlay District as described in zoning case ZON20-04 for the Maricopa Townsite Subdivision, within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits. Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve Ordinance 20-14, a request by the City of Maricopa to amend the city's zoning map to include the Maricopa Station Overlay District. The overlay district will generally be located within a portion of the Heritage District redevelopment area, Maricopa Townsite Subdivsion.  Discussion and Action.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

On July 27, 2020 the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended the City Council to approve Zoning case ZON20-04, and adopt Ordinance 20-14.
