TITLE

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, declaring as a public record that certain document filed with the City Clerk and entitled "Maricopa City Code - 2002 Revision" and repealing the previously adopted City Code and all amendments thereto. Discussion and Action.

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

Staff hired a codification company to codify the Maricopa City Code approximately one year ago. In the process of the codification, the City Code was reorganized and renumbered. Staff felt that repealing the existing City Code and adopting a revised City Code would be in the best interest of the City. 

This item will be presented by City Clerk Vanessa Bueras.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends approval of the Resolution and Ordinance.
