TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, adopting a revised fee schedule for the Development Services and the Fire/Medical Department. Discussion and Action.

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City of Maricopa Development Services and Fire/Medical Department charges fees for applications, permits, plan reviews, and inspections relating to development and construction projects. The fees are intended to pay for services provided by the department to ensure substantial compliance with applicable City codes and ordinances, which protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public.

Fees are determined through two mechanisms. One mechanism is the use of a building valuation data table, which aids in determining the construction value of a construction project; when the value is determined, a fee is calculated. · Fire/Medical Department:
o Adding back Fire/Medical fees prior to the 2018 Fee Schedule update.
· Development Services, Planning and Zoning Division:
o Clarified language for lot splits by adding lot combination.
o Added fee for street name or number change.
o Added amendment fee for Development Review Permit applications (commercial).
o Added Seasonal Sales Permit (i.e. Christmas tree, fireworks stand).
o Revised Temporary Sign Per...
