TITLE

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve Ordinance 19-12, a request by the City of Maricopa, to rezone 4.75 acres of land from Transitional - TR (former Zoning Code) to Public Institution - PI as identified in the current Zoning Code. Generally locatedon the north east corner of White and Parker Rd. and Bowlin Rd., within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits. The parcel of land is situtated in a portion of  west half of Section 30 of Township 4 South, Range 4 east of the Gila and Salt River base and meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Discussion and Action.

 

On August 12, 2019 the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that the City Council approve Zoning Case # ZON19-03, and adopt Ordinance 19-12.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff finds the submittal items of ZON19-03 to be significantly compliant with Sec. 509 of City of Mariocopa Zoning Code.

 

The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of case # ZON19-03 subject to the conditions stated in the staff analysis exhibit.
