TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall hear public comment regarding the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds expected to be in the amount of $180,000. This item will be presented by Cassandra Brown.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This portion of the meeting will serve as a public hearing and the required Second Public Meeting to gain input on possible uses for the CDBG Regional Allocation Funding. The Mayor and City Council will hear a presentation from Development Services (Neighborhood Services) on the project brought forward at the First Public Meeting on May 7, 2019. The potential CDBG project is named and described as follows:
Heritage District Neighborhood Revitalization Program - This program will assist homeowners with exterior improvements, street side landscaping, health and safety welfare repairs (i.e. roofing, HVAC, plumbing, windows and doors); and to install 10 modern decorative concrete lighting poles with energy efficient LED luminaries along with bollards and underground electric where there is no existing lighting.
It is expected that the City Council will select the final project after this hearing and adopt applicable resolutions.
