AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

This agenda item is for the public hearing only.  The request for City Council approval to apply for the Section 5311 FY18-19-20 Mid-Cycle Adjustment will be presented at a subsequent City Council meeting.  The exact date of the request to apply is uncertain at this time because the federal government shutdown  delayed the ADOT/City Budget discussions.

As a requirement of this grant application (adjustment),  the City of Maricopa is required to hold a public meeting and seek public comment on the grant application for transit services in the community.  Additionally, letters are sent to current service providers in the Maricopa area for support or protest.

This item is presented by Acting Development Services Director  Kazi Haque and David R. Maestas, Transportation Policy Manager.
