Annual Employee Excellence Awards
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Background - The Employee Excellence Program has been in place for five years, and includes public recognition at the Council Meeting and a $500 award. We recognize employees in four different categories: non-managers, mid-managers, sworn public safety employees, and part-time employees.
How are people nominated and selected - Anyone can nominate an employee: Peers, supervisors, or dept directors. Select members from the Executive team reviews the nominations, and select the winners. This is the most difficult job!
Excellent Employees - This year we received nominations for 13 employees. Each of the nominees are to be commended for their dedication to customer service and to the Maricopa community
