TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving Amendment No. One to the existing Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Maricopa and The State of Arizona acting through the Department of Transportation on the design of a bridge on State Route 347 over the Union Pacific Railroad within the City. The purpose of this Amendment is to replace Exhibits A and B; there is no budgetary impact associated with this Amendment. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On April 4, 2017, Council approved IGA 17-02, an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Maricopa and the State of Arizona through the Department of Transportation, for the design of a bridge on State Route 347 over the Union Pacific Railroad within the City. Amendment No. One to this IGA replaces Exhibits A and B (adding additional Right of Way the ADOT has purchased and will give to the City) and adds language stating that the City acknowledges and will comply with Title XI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. There are no changes to the original Recitals or Scope or Work, and there is no budgetary impact associated with Amendment No. One.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve Amendment No. One to the IGA between the City of Maricopa and The State of Arizona acting through the Department of Transportation the design of a bridge on State Route 347 over the Union Pacific Railroad within the City.
