TITLE
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, amending Section 2-76 of the City Code of Maricopa to change the order of consideration and disposition of the business of council. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Currently public hearings are discussed in one section of the agenda while the actual item is discussed at a later time. This causes some confusion as to when the presentations have to be made as well as when the public should voice their questions or concerns. We believe that by having the public hearing and the agenda item at the same time, it will alleviate some confusion and make the meetings run more efficiently.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the Ordinance.
