TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on an Award of Contract with Commercial Cleaning Systems (CCS) for janitorial services at Copper Sky Multigenerational Center. Funding for this contract, in an amount not to exceed $170,540.33 will be drawn from Copper Sky Fund, Community Services Administration, Janitorial Services (23033130-54423). This Award of Contract is in compliance with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-215 "Bidding Procedures." Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Copper Sky Multigenerational Center requires janitorial services each day. Services required at this facility include, but are not limited to: basic vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of restrooms and break rooms, as well as detailed cleaning of mirrors, windows, countertops, and entrances. Additionally, semiannual carpet and multi-purpose floor cleaning will be needed. The recommended vendor will provide these cleaning services and will supply and stock all cleaning equipment, supplies, paper products, and soaps for the facility.
The City issued a Request for Proposal for janitorial services and selected CCS based on an evaluation of the responding firms.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the contract with Commercial Cleaning Systems (CCS) in an amount not to exceed $170,540.33 for janitorial services at Copper Sky Multigenerational Center. Funding for this contract will come from Copper Sky Fund, Community Service Administration, Janitorial Services (23033130-54423). This Award of Contract is in compliance with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-215 "Bidding Procedures."
