TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on an Award of Contract with PBC Phoenix, Inc., dba Commercial Cleaning Systems for janitorial services at City Hall, Copper Sky Regional Park, Maricopa Public Library, Pacana Park, Fire Administration, and Public Works/Fleet Maintenance. Funding for this contract, in an amount not to exceed $158,602.23, will be drawn from General Fund, Facilities, Cleaning Services (10055158-54420). This Award of Contract is in compliance with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-215 "Bidding Procedures." Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
City Hall, Copper Sky Park, Maricopa Public Library, Pacana Park, Fire Administration, and Public Works/Fleet Maintenance require janitorial services each workday. Services required at these City facilities include, but are not limited to, basic vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and cleaning of restrooms and break rooms. Additionally, semiannual carpet cleaning is needed. The recommended vendor will provide these cleaning services and will supply and stock all cleaning equipment, supplies, paper products, and soaps for these facilities.
The City issued a Request for Proposal for janitorial services and selected Commercial Cleaning Systems based on an evaluation of the responding firms.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
