TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving a contract amendment with TPC Group Inc., DBA The Planning Center, in an amount not to exceed $84,813, which is an additional $25,044 from the original contract. The contract amendment is for continued planning consulting services to update the City's Subdivision Ordinance for the City of Maricopa. This contract will be funded through the General Government CIP for Development Services and complies with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-215 “Bidding Procedure.” Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This contract with TPC Group Inc., DBA The Planning Center, is intended for continued planning consulting services to update the City's Subdivision Ordinance, expected to be completed by the end of this year. The amended contract is for additional services that have occurred, cost of $15,044 and to add a contingency fund of $10,000 for any other services needed for the completion of the code rewrite. Total amended contract amount is $84,813 from the previous $59,769, a difference of $25,044. The maximum amount that was approved in the budget for this project is $100,000.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the contract with TPC Group Inc., DBA The Planning Center, in an amount not to exceed $84,813 to provide consulting services for the City of Maricopa’s Planning Division. This contract will be funded through the General Fund, Development Services and complies with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-215 “Bidding Procedure."
