TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving a purchase of one (1) 2019 Ford F350 Crew Cab XLT with a SWAB animal control body from Peoria Ford for the City of Maricopa Police Department in an amount not to exceed a total of $64,943.73. This purchase is in accordance with the City of Maricopa Purchasing Code, Article IV, Section 3-223, Cooperative Purchasing and will be paid from the following accounts $55,000.00 funded by account Capital Project Fund, Vehicles (35022122-67742-40007) and $9953.73 funded by Capital Project Fund, Police Replacement Vehicles, (35022122-67742-38012). Funding for this purchase has been approved in the FY19 budget. This purchase will be using a portion of these budgeted funds. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The purchase of one (1) 2019 Ford F350 Animal Control truck will be to replace one (1) 2007 Ford F250 Animal Control truck that has reached the end of its useful life. This vehicle is required as per the IGA between Pinal County and the City of Maricopa for Animal Control Services.
