TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving a purchase of one (1) 2019 Ford Police Interceptor from Peoria Ford for the City of Maricopa Police Department in an amount not to exceed a total of $40,892.72. This purchase is in accordance with the City of Maricopa Purchasing Code, Article IV, Section 3-223, Cooperative Purchasing and will be paid from the following accounts $37,722.72 funded by account Capital Project Fund, Police Uniform Services, Police Replacement Vehicles (35022122-67742-38012) and $3,170.00 funded by Capital Project Fund, Ballistic Protection for Vehicles, (35022122-67742-38013). Funding for this purchase has been approved in the FY19 budget. This purchase will be using a portion of these budgeted funds. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The purchase of one (1) 2019 Ford Police Interceptor will be to replace one (1) 2006 Dodge Charger that has reached the end of its useful life. This vehicle will be used as a unmarked patrol vehicle.
