TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approval of an Addendum to Job Order Contract with SDB Contracting Services to provide general construction services for the Family Advocacy Center Abatement and Re-Roof project. This Addendum, in the amount of $73,750.94 plus an owner’s contingency of $10,000 for a total amount not to exceed $83,750.94, is based on City of Chandler Contract No. JOC 1601-401 and is in compliance with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-223 “Cooperative Purchasing.” Funding for this project will be drawn from Grants-Police Professional Development, Construction Services-Non-Capital, Family Advocacy Center-MPD (22022123-54450-17217). AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This Addendum to Job Order Contract and associated fees will provide for construction services for the Family Advocacy Center at 18860 North John Wayne Parkway. The construction services shall include asbestos abatement and re-roof of the existing building. The City of Chandler currently has a Job Order Contract with SDB Contracting Services to provide general construction services, and staff intends to use the cooperative purchasing terms of the contract for this project.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the Addendum to Job Order Contract with SDB Contracting Services to provide general construction services for the Family Advocacy Center Abatement and Re-Roof project in a total amount not to exceed $83,750.94, which will be drawn from Grants-Police Professional Development, Construction Services-Non-Capital, Family Advocacy Center-MPD (22022123-54450-17217).
