TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving funding for the recruitment of a City Manager in an amount not to exceed $35,000 and to authorize a transfer from contingency (10010000-99000) to City Manager, Professional and Occupational (10011115-53320) for the payment to Springsted - Waters ($24,500) and payment of necessary travel expenses ($10,500). AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The recruitment firm Springsted - Waters Executive Search was hired to execute the recruitment process for a new city manager. They will advertise the position, identify quality candidates, screen applications, conduct background and reference checks, academic verifications, and on-site interviews. Their fee for this process is $24,500. The additional $10,500 will be used for any travel expenses for candidates or the Mayor, Councilmembers or staff through this process.
