TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving a purchase request issuance to Midway Chevrolet for one (1) 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. This vehicle will be utilized by the Maricopa Police Department Victim Services Unit for the purpose of responding to a critical incident and transporting victims and their families during crisis. In accordance with the City of Maricopa, Purchasing Code, Article IV, Section 3-223, Cooperative Purchasing. It is recommended that the State of Arizona Contract #ADSPO17166122/Bid#ADSPO17-00006937 be utilized to purchase this vehicle in an amount not to exceed $30,765.13. The vehicle cost is funded by the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Assistance Grant, Police Support Services (22022123-67742-18223) in the amount of $29,851. The remaining cost of $914.13 will be paid from Capital Improvement, Police Services (35022122-67742-38012). Discussion and Action.

On January 16, 2018 the Mayor and City Council approved the acceptance of the Arizona Department of Public Safety Crime Victim Assistance Grant (VOCA) for the Maricopa Family Advocacy Center. Within this project the Maricopa Police Department was awarded a vehicle to provide emergency response and transportation to victims and families.
