TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on appointing one citizen to fill the vacancy on the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Advisory Committee. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On October 9, 2017, staff received a letter of resignation from Becky Check therefore creating a vacancy on the Committee. Staff began recruiting immediately after receiving the letter of resignation. Staff since then received one application, from Ben Owens. Since Becky Check was originally appointed by Councilmember Manfredi, this will be his appointment.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Councilmember Manfredi appoint one citizen to fill the vacancy on the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Committee.
