TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss the four-day workweek employee survey findings. Discussion only.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

Employees currently working the four-days per week/ten-hours per day schedule were surveyed to see what schedule they prefer and what schedule they believe is most effective for their position. The survey results are included in the attachments. The results for the Management Team (Directors and Managers) and all other staff are shown separately in the results.

 

The PowerPoint presentation, Staff Report and City Manager's Report from when the City originally moved to the four-day workweek schedule are also included in the attachments.

 

...CITY MANAGER RECOMMENDATION

 

The City Manager recommends providing direction to staff should there be a desire to further evaluate the benefits and impacts of a four day workweek.  This agenda item was requested by Council Member Smith and Council Member Gusse.
