TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall hear and discuss a presentation by Dan Marum, Wilson & Company, of the Draft Final Area Transportation Plan Phase II Report.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Mayor and Council adopted Phase I of the Area Transportation Plan on December 15, 2015. At this time, work on Phase II was initiated. Phase II of the ATP included the Study of the Val Vista and Anderson Parkway Planning Corridors, a study of Flood and Drainage Infrastructure needed to support the recommended Ultimate Roadway Network Improvements, and Implementation Support. The most prominent task element of Phase II is the study of the Val Vista and Anderson Parkway Planning Corridors, because preservation of Right Of Way in these corridors is necessary to ensure that the Maricopa Roadway Network is sufficient to handle the greatly increased traffic projected for coming years.
This item will be presented by Development Services Director Martin Scribner and David R. Maestas, Transportation/Transit Planner and Project Manager for the Area Transportation Plan.

Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council hear and discuss the Draft Final Area Transportation Plan Phase II Report.
