AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

This action is for the Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving the purchase of ten (10) Panasonic Toughbook 31 tablets from CDW-G.

Toughbook computers are essential to law enforcement operations, allowing officers to complete and revise reports in the field.  Toughbook computers allow officers to review information and data from Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).   The ten (10) Toughbooks will act as replacement items to Toughbooks already in the field.

The item is being presented by Police Chief Steve Stahl.

Staff recommends approval to purchase ten (10) Panasonic Toughbook 31 tablets from CDW-G.
