TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approval of a Contract Award with Segal Waters Consulting Group to conduct a Compensation and Classification Analysis Study for the City of Maricopa.  Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

In accordance with City of Maricopa, Purchasing Code, Article IV, Section #3-215 it is recommended that Segal Waters Consulting be awarded a contract and utilized for the Compensation and Classification Analysis Study, when required, for the City of Maricopa, Arizona.  The City of Maricopa, Human Resources Department, developed and reviewed the scope of work and worked with the Purchasing Staff to finalize specifications for RFQ#17-HRM01302017.  This RFQ was competitively solicited and tentatively awarded to Segal Waters Consulting NTE $75k.

Based upon the detailed proposal reviews done by an evaluation team, it is recommended that the Contract be awarded to Segal Waters Consulting pending Council approval on May 2, 2017.  Please note on April 18, 2017 Council approved Contingency funding of $60k for this project.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends approval of the agreement with Segal Waters Consulting Group to conduct a Compensation and Classifaction Analysis Study.
