TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on purchasing a FARO Laser Scanner FocusS for utilization on accident reconstructions. This purchase, in an amount not to exceed $97,025.73, will be funded by Grants - Police Uniformed Services, Computer Equipment, Accident Investigation Software - Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (22022122-67744-17218) for $34,000.00, and is in compliance with City of Maricopa Purchasing Code Article IV, Section 3-223 “Cooperative Purchasing.” The remainder $63,025.73 of the purchase will be purchased with the budgetary authority to expend RICO money. Per a previous grant acceptance (GRAAC17-01) The Mayor and City Council accepted a grant through the FY16 Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Funding. The grant of $34,000 was awarded for Accident Investigation Software.
