TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall hear a presentation discussing street name sign design options.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
In FY 2013, the City was awarded $430,000 for a grant under the Highway Safety Improvement Program to bring its sign inventory into compliance. The recently completed assessment identified approximately 300 regulatory signs and 3,400 street name signs to be replaced under the program, the latter of which gives the City an opportunity to create a City-specific “branding” to its sign detail. This presentation will provide design options for a sign detail specific to the City of Maricopa’s street name signs.
This item will be presented by Public Works Director/City Engineer William P. Fay.
