TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall hear and possibly take action to ratify the submission of a relocation entitlement claim form with ADOT to assign the payment of $135,239.00 to William Scotsman, Inc. for the relocation of the Fire Administration temporary building. Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The temporary relocation of Fire Administration due to the grade separation project costs are being paid for by ADOT.  ADOT required the city to sign a contract as the city is listed as the displacee.  City Manager Rose signed the contract due to the tight schedule requirements in order to have the trailers ready for move in prior to ADOT taking over Fire Administration’s current location.  Payment will be made directly from ADOT to William Scotsman Inc. no monies will be paid out directly from the City of Maricopa.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends approval of the ratification.
