TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving the purchase of twelve (12) portable radio, one (1) motorcycle radio, six (6) Bluetooth microphones, ten (10) stubby antennas, four (4) vehicle chargers, four (4) control stations for dispatch and one (1) multi-unit charger and software from Motorola, Inc., pursuant to Section 3-223, Cooperative Purchasing” of the City Code in an amount not to exceed $122, 069.83 Funding is CIP- Police Radios (35022122-67741-32036). Discussion and Action.

This action is for Mayor and City Council to approve the purchase twelve (12) portable radios, one (1) motorcycle radio, six (6) Bluetooth microphones, ten (10) stubby antennas, four (4) vehicle chargers, four (4) control stations for dispatch and one (1) multi-unit charger and software from Motorola, Inc.
Portable radios are essential communications equipment used by police personnel and police volunteers at all emergency incidents and during day-to-day operations. These Portable radios will be assigned to police volunteers and responding agencies during a critical incident or a special event.
