TITLE

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Employees who are not covered by a negotiated Memoranda of Understanding, are provided a paid day off on the holidays recognized by the City of Maricopa.  The City's holiday policy is provided through the City of Maricopa Personnel Policies and Procedures.  This resolution amends the City's holiday policy for the employees classified as Public Safety Communication Dispatchers, to allow them to receive holiday pay, consistent with other public safety employees who provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
