TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, granting a drainage easement to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to allow ADOT to maintain drainage structures for State Route 347 in Copper Sky Park, which are generally located within the City of Maricopa in a portion of the northwest quarter of Section 34, Township 4 South, Range 3 East of the Gila and Salt River meridian, Pinal County, Arizona and authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents related thereto. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This item is a dedication of a drainage and maintenance easement so ADOT can maintain the drainage structures relocated onto City property with the construction of the Copper Sky Regional Park. As a condition of the right of way permit from ADOT, the City agreed to dedicate a drainage easement to ADOT after the park was completed. The easement is reflected on the Property's Map of Dedication. However, ADOT also requires a separate dedication.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve Resolution 16-03, granting a drainage easement to ADOT for maintenance of drainage structures for State Route 347 in Copper Sky Regional Park.
