TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to award a Professional Services Contract with AllStaff for CIP Project Management hourly services in an amount not to exceed $84,000. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On March 4, 2014, Council approved the reclassification of the position of CIP Coordinator to CIP Project Manager. This was done in an effort to recruit a project manager-caliber employee to manage the City's capital projects. Subsequent to the reclassification, the City advertised for the position, but has received inadequate quality applicants with education and experience below what is desired. AllStaff provides the opportunity to contract with an experienced, quality project manager that is familiar with the types of projects in the City's capital program and will provide detailed attention to project needs and the needs of the City.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council approve a Professional Services Contract with AllStaff for CIP Project Management hourly services in an amount not to exceed $84,000.
