AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event Liquor License be approved by local government before submission to their office.  In preparation for the Great American 4th event that is planned for July 4, 2016, at Copper Sky Regional Park, Pat Kieny has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license. This is the 12th year in holding this event.  Staff has reviewed, commented, and met with the applicant regarding their event plan.  Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

This item will be presented by Kristie Riester, Community Services Director
