AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The use of on body cameras is essential in capturing essential evidence, in both the audio and visual format to assist our police officers in providing a higher level of service to the community.  On body cameras will provide a permanent record of the actions and interactions of our officers.  Thus, providing a greater level of protection against unnecessary litigation while providing the department with a higher level of accountability regarding the actions of our officers.
