TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Maricopa and Pinal County through the Arizona@Work Pinal County Workforce Development Board ("ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County"), for use of space for workforce services. Discussion and Action.

 

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The City shall offer space at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center in exchange for services to help residents with job placement. ARIZONA@WORK will provide on-site career coaching, resume writing instruction, and assistance with networking for job placement. The City will provide computer access for services, publish a schedule of availability, and allow for informational signage to promote the access point.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Maricopa and Pinal County.
