AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The State of Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control requires that an application for Extension of Premises/Patio Permit be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for their St. Patty's Day event that is planned for Friday, March 16, 2012 thru Saturday, March 17, 2012 at O'Shays Pub & Grill, Theresa June Morse has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the extension of premises liquor license.
As a new business in our community, this is the first year in holding this celebration. Staff has reviewed, commented and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control for an Extension of Premises/Patio Permit for the St. Patty's Day event on Friday, March 16, 2012 thru Saturday, March 17, 2012.
