The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to enter into an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the City of Maricopa Police Department and the City of Buckeye on a month to month basis for Police Dispatch Services. AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The intergovernmental agreement (IGA) will continue to provide the City of Maricopa with police dispatch services on a monthly basis while the Maricopa Police Communication Center is being constructed. The terms of the contract will be on a month to month beginning July 01, 2015. This is an extension of an existing IGA and service that is currently being provided to the City of Maricopa by the City of Buckeye.
The Intergovernmental agreement shall not exceed $50,000 per month. Funding will for the total costs will be taken from the general fund in police support services in following line item:
General Fund, Police Support Services, Technical Assistance (10022123-53340) $50,000 per month.
