AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Mayor and City Council has asked staff to pursue developing a Request For Proposal (RFP) for the operation of the multi-gen/aquatic center. Due to numerous considerations and scopes of service possible, staff is providing an overview of the process thus far, a summary of the schedule for completing this solicitation, and information on the key elements that will be sought from respondents to the solicitation. This information is being brought forward in light of information garnered in the Request for Information (RFI) process, inquiries and expressions of interest from local organizations subsequent to the closing of the RFI, and recent changes in the anticipated Scope of Services. Finally, staff is seeking Council direction regarding the proposed elements, timeline and approach for the completion of this RFP solicitation.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council hear a presentation on the RFP options for the operation of the multi-gen/aquatic center and provide direction regarding the presented approach.
